Is Scout really free for employers?

Indeed it is. We make our money by retaining a small portion of the fees paid to the talent providers in exchange for providing them access to a wider range of jobs from top employers.

How long does it take to get up and running?

A typical process for new clients takes about 6 – 8 weeks. This can include (but isn’t limited to), systems integration, contract reviews, search firm agency onboarding, user training, and “go-live” activation.

Do I need to set aside internal development resources to help implement Scout?

Our goal is make the impact on your organization as minimal as possible, so we use system integrators who partner with the various applicant tracking systems, and we pay their costs. We also provide all training at no cost to you.

Can I still use Scout if I'm not on one of your ATS partners?

Absolutely. We’ve got more than a few clients who use Scout as a stand-alone platform. Please reach out and we’ll be happy to explain the different options.

Will our search firm fees go up?

Nope. In fact, with Scout, they usually go the other way. Our goal is to drive fees down by motivating search firms to provide competitive bids when they submit a candidate’s resume. In exchange, we give them the chance to fill a high number of openings they wouldn’t have otherwise had access to. Oh, and we handle all the processing and invoicing so they can concentrate on sourcing great talent.

What’s the invoicing process with Scout?

All talent provider fees are invoiced to and paid by Scout. Hiring companies no longer have to deal with any provider invoices; instead they receive one bill from Scout for all fees. And Search Firms no longer need to chase down payments. Everything’s just a bit easier with Scout.

Can I continue to work with the search firms I already use?

You bet. We’ll be happy to help onboard your existing vendors to the Scout system (if they aren’t already on it with another client).

How do you decide which recruiters to send my jobs to?

Scout’s machine learning engine is constantly tracking the success each recruiter is having sourcing successful candidates for specific job types. So, when your job is posted, Scout analyzes the job details and uses that data to identify the specific recruiters with the most success filling similar jobs, and then routes your job to the highest rated.
